The Curse of La Llorona also known as Curse of The Weeping Woman, is a horror movie from the director Michael Caves who will also direct The Conjuring 3. This movie is related from the Conjuring universe.

James Wan is the producer of this film who was the director of the previous Conjuring series, The Curse of La Llorona is actually based on a true story, in this movie they showed Mexican culture and its famous story of Llorona.

La Llorona True Story

In Mexico La LIorona is a spirit of a girl who kills only children, there is a story behind this girl, according to Mexican a girl who’s name was LIorona fall in love with a guy and they married.

They had two children. But for some working reasons, her Spaniard husband went out of the city, but there was no issue with the family, in fact, they were so happy.

One day her husband went out of the city for some work and he never came back, that time was tough for LIorona but somehow she understands the situation and takes care of her children.

Those children were everything for her, La Llorona loves them more than anyone but one day she went in a park with her two children and suddenly she saw her husband with another girl, she understands that Spaniard betrayed her then she was shocked that time.

After saw this she lost her mind and she throws her children into the pound, and both children were don’t know how to swim because of that they lost their lives after that, La LIorona knows that what has she done her big mistake of life than she also killed herself.

That is why she always wants her children back and because of that she killed everyone’s children, this is the famous true story of La Llorona, and many Mexican believe in this.

Studio decided to change the dress La Llorona, according to Mexican story she was on black dress but in the movie she is on white dress, But I recommend you guys to see this movie because this is a great horror movie.
